Cedar Ridge Senior Living had two state inspections in the last two years and neither one resulted in a single citation - including a relicensure survey and five separate complaint investigations. In those investigations, surveyors watched 23 medications being given without error, and every resident they interviewed said the building was clean and homelike and that they had never been treated rudely by staff. Families should know that the complaints investigated were serious ones - an abuse allegation, and a self-reported incident where a resident took the wrong medication and was hospitalized - but the state investigated each on site and found nothing to cite. It is still fair to ask the community how they handle medication supervision, since that incident is part of the public record.
