Shawnee Memory Care had one state inspection in the past two years, in October 2025, and it was a big one — a full relicensure survey combined with two complaint investigations alleging abuse and neglect, inadequate supervision, missed meals, and short staffing. Inspectors spent three days interviewing residents and staff and reviewing care plans, staffing schedules, incident reports and grievances, and none of those allegations led to a citation.
