The Cottages provides home-style assisted living in quiet residential neighborhoods of Weatherford, where each home is indistinguishable from a family residence and houses a maximum of six residents. Founded by Bonnie Kliewer and Dee Henderson, who bring over 50 years of combined healthcare experience, the community focuses on individualized care and letting residents enjoy all the freedoms of home rather than an institutional setting.
Residents enjoy home-cooked meals and their favorite snacks, 24-hour in-home staff assistance, and medication management coordinated with a registered nurse and licensed pharmacist. The homes feature secure, accessible yards with covered patios and raised garden beds, plus family visitation spaces and common areas, all designed to maintain each resident's independence, personal choice, and familiar routines.
