About

Victorian Estates is a secure, close-knit assisted living community in Yukon, Oklahoma, built for seniors who want to stay independent while having help close at hand. The community deliberately trades an institutional, hospital-like feel for a home-like atmosphere, with private apartment-style living and a variety of room styles and price ranges meant to fit different needs. Highly skilled caregivers are on site around the clock, and the community also offers short-term respite stays for families needing temporary relief.

Daily support is individualized and dignity-focused, with the goal of increasing each resident's well-being and independence rather than doing everything for them. Caregivers help with medication administration, bathing, dressing, and grooming, and residents receive monthly blood pressure checks and periodic nursing evaluations. Three chef-prepared meals are served daily, and a calendar of life-enrichment activities, socials, and exercise programs keeps residents engaged. Housekeeping, linen and personal laundry service, and coordinated transportation round out daily life, and residents also have preferred access to the affiliated Ranchwood Nursing Center should needs increase.

OSP RatingOSP ExcellentHow we rate: the OSP Rating is built from this community’s Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) survey history — weighing how recent, how frequent, and how serious the state’s inspection findings are. (Assisted living has no federal star rating, so we base it on the state’s public survey record.)

Excellenta consistently clean state inspection history — one of the strongest records in Oklahoma.

What state inspectors found

3 inspections in the last two years · 3 with no deficiencies cited

Victorian Estates in Yukon has a clean state inspection record for the past two years. All three inspections — a full relicensure survey in November 2025 and two earlier visits — ended with no deficiencies cited, and that includes two separate complaint investigations the state looked into and did not sustain. During the July 2024 visit, inspectors walked the building across multiple shifts and watched staff helping residents with showers and daily care, and reviewed resident records, care plans, and hospice coordination without finding violations.

  • The most recent full state inspection, in November 2025, found nothing wrong at all. 11-18-2025
  • Someone complained in October 2024 that the facility's pets weren't being vaccinated or cared for in a sanitary way. The state came in unannounced, toured the building, looked at residents' rooms, checked the pet vaccination records and pet policies, and interviewed residents and staff — and found nothing to cite. 10-31-2024
  • A July 2024 complaint raised three serious concerns: that families and hospice weren't being notified when residents went to the hospital, that care wasn't being coordinated with hospice or following advance directives, and that residents weren't told about rate increases. The state investigated all three alongside a full licensure survey and cited no deficiencies. 07-23-2024
  • During that July 2024 visit, inspectors walked the building at different times and across different shifts and watched staff helping residents with daily tasks like showers, watched hospice staff working with residents, and saw vital signs being taken. 07-23-2024
Show all 5 findings
  • Inspectors pulled and reviewed resident records in detail — service contracts, assessments, doctor's orders, care plans, progress notes, hospice notes and hospice care plans — plus the facility's grievance files and its 2024 rate-increase notices, and found no violations. 07-23-2024

What the state also noted

  • These survey reports are short. Because no deficiencies were found, the documents describe what inspectors looked at rather than giving detailed findings, so there is limited detail about day-to-day quality of life.
  • The July 2024 complaint did raise real concerns from someone — about hospice coordination, notifying families when residents were sent to the hospital, and rate-increase notices. The state investigated and cited nothing, but the allegations themselves are part of the record.
  • The facility had a change of administrator between the 2024 and 2025 surveys, so current leadership differs from the leadership in place during the earlier inspections.

Summarized from Oklahoma State Department of Health survey documents. Inspections are a snapshot of specific days and sample a small number of residents.
